Join the Yammer discussion regarding the "Next Steps" email.

As shared during the September Partner Community Calls (Americas, Asia, EMEA), the FRP team is providing the ability to easily acknowledge receipt of assignment and confirm when customer contact has been attempted as part of the RFA assignments process.

Our goal is to increase transparency in bidirectional communication and data sharing with minimum partner effort, gain better insights on the delivery process following RFA assignment, and provide actionable and timely information about the RFA.
The FRP team is rolling out this capability to all partners, following a phased approach to enable a new subset of partners every 2 weeks, on 10/4/2021, 10/18/2021, 11/1/2021, and 11/15/2021.

Call to action
  • Check with your FPM to learn when the “Next Steps” email is being enabled for you
  • Ensure emails sent to your RFA and Referral contacts from “FRP Notification Service” (frpnotif@microsoft.com) are not directed to their junk folder.
  • Acknowledge assignment receipt promptly.
  • Confirm customer contact as soon as attempted (do not wait for customer’s response).
The Next Steps email will be sent only to the partner upon assignment of an RFA. Currently only Direct, Existing and New Assignments are in scope for the Next Steps email. The partner will receive the email and is expected to:
  • Acknowledge assignment received
    • Click the Assignment Received button to acknowledge receipt of the assignment
    • On the resulting browser page, click Submit to confirm
  • Once first customer contact attempted
    • Click the First Customer Contact Attempted button when first reaching out to the customer
    • On the resulting browser page, click Submit to confirm
