Offer terms
- The program runs from January 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022.
- Eligible Customers: Commercial customers with 500 or more Windows Enterprise licenses nominated by program partners. Customers in the Education segment and non-profit organizations are not eligible.
- Program partners must submit, and have approved, a claim for each customer that is being assisted with their deployment.
- Partners will be able to continue to drive Monthly Active Device usage through the end of the Microsoft fiscal year, June 30, 2022.

How it works
Microsoft will provide materials and guidance to assist partners with delivering Windows 11 Technical Assessments and Pilot deployments.
To be successful with this program, partners are expected to nominate a minimum of 10 customers in their first 30 business days (6 calendar weeks) of program participation, complete a minimum of 10 Technical Assessments, and 5 successful Pilots during the Program Term.
Milestone 1: The Technical Assessments partner responsibilities entail:
- Submit a claim - https://aka.ms/Win11DeploymentClaim for each customer you will assist with the technical assessment.
- For approved claims, work with the customer:
- Provide education about the features of, and value proposition for, Windows 11.
- Assess and document customer environments to understand readiness for, and steps necessary to, upgrade to Windows 11.
- Provide customer the documented results of the assessments and recommended next steps.
- Answer questions customers may have related to the upgrade to Windows 11.
- Following delivery of the assessment, to earn the Technical Assessment incentive you must upload proof of execution*.
- Earn $4,000.
*This January, a readiness session will be hosted to train partners on assessment delivery and provide guidance on proof of execution submission.
Milestone 2: Windows 11 Pilots Monthly Active Device Targets:
Product telemetry will be used to verify when the number of Windows 11 Monthly Active Devices reaches the target 50 or 250 device milestone thresholds.
Reach 50 active Windows 11 devices for customers with 500 to 1,000 Windows Enterprise licenses, earn $4,000; or
Reach 250 active Windows 11 devices for customers with 1,000 Windows Enterprise licenses, earn $6,000.

Additional Questions and Information
When will I begin to receive incentive payments for milestone achievements begin?
Earnings are calculated one month in arrears, and Microsoft will endeavor to calculate earnings and release payment for achieved milestones within 45 days of the end of the earning month.
I have already been working with customers on other Modern Work workshops, are these customers still eligible to earn the incentive?
Yes, this incentive may be stacked with payments for other Modern Work workshops that include Windows 11 modules, such as the Endpoint Management Workshop and NextGen Endpoints Workshop.
When can I start claiming?
Partners may begin submitting claims today, with incentive-eligible milestone achievements January 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022. NOTE: Claims MUST be submitted, approved and milestones achieved by June 30, 2022.
Claims will be cancelled if:
- Technical Assessment Proof of Execution has not been submitted 30 business days (6 calendar weeks) from date of claim.
- Target Pilot thresholds have not been reached 40 business days (8 calendar weeks) from date of Technical Assessment Proof of Execution submission.
