FastTrack Portal/Migration Hub Partner Access
Customers are be able to add Partner UPNs (@partner.com) as team members in the Portal to view the new migration experience.

Summary

Customers will be able to add Partner UPNs (@partner.com) as Team Members in the Portal to view the new migration experience.

Impact

Customer must do two things to get you access:A

  1. Customer must add your UPN (alias@partners.com) to the FastTrack Portal as a Team Member. This action will get you access to the Learning Center.
  2. Customer must send an email to MST requesting that you receive access to their FastTrack Portal. This action will get you access to the migration projects (e.g. Project Cards and Project Creation tile)

Context

The Learning Center will move outside the customer's security boundary and will be viewable to anyone who is a Team Member on the customer's FastTrack Portal tenant.

The Project Cards and Project Card creation tiles are security scoped to the customer's FastTrack Portal tenant. Customer must request access in order for you to see their Project Cards and Project card creation tile.

Security scoping at the project card level is currently unavailable. This is a common ask for those customers that have two migration workloads with two different teams running the migration.

Scenario 1

Customer added me as a Team Member in their FastTrack Portal but I have not been given access by MST, what do I see: Only the Learning Center.

Scenario 2

Customer added me as a Team Member on the FastTrack Portal and I have been given access by MST. You will see the following: Learning Center and Migration Project.

NOTE: Request for Access MUST come from the customer. You will NOT BE GRANTED access if you request access directly to Migration Support Team (MST).

On the Roadmap

Customer will be able to control access from the FastTrack Portal in FY21 H2. The MST request for access step will be deprecated at that time.
