In July, we experienced a large claw back of incentives due to an overpayment from Microsoft in May for the Microsoft Information Protection workload. The reporting errors not only impact us financially, but it negatively effects our internal sales force's quota goals and confidence in the reporting structure of the OSU and FastTrack program. This is not the first and only incident. A similar error has happened last year.

2021-08-25 - Patric Grimwood - Thank you for sharing your concern with us regarding incentive clawbacks made by the OSU-M365 incentive program. We recognize that this is a disruptive event and as a company do our best to ensure that we do not have to resort to clawbacks. In this instance it was unavoidable due to issues that were out of the control of the incentive operations team. They distributed incentives based on the data they were given and later learned from the data owners that the data needed to be restated leading to the overpayment and associated clawback.We, the FastTrack Ready Partner program team, are sharing your feedback and reiterating the concerns you raise with our colleagues in the OSU-M365 team. At this point there is no action to be taken beyond relaying your feedback and so I am going to close this item.
